A native New Yorker; born Pamela D. Herndon, the sole child to Rev. James & Elder Ophelia Herndon; Bishop Spence has been an extraordinary gift from the beginning. At age seven, she repented of her sins and was filled with the Holy Ghost under the evangelistic ministry of Pastor Tanna Schoefield-Cole.

Bishop Spence was confirmed a Prophet of God at the age of nine by Prophet Aaron Johnson while under the anointed ministry of the Honorable Apostle Richard D. Henton, (Chicago, IL).

Between the ages of thirteen and twenty-two; it was evident by the plethora of demonic attacks assigned to her life and numerous deliverances that she was destined to fulfill a God appointed assignment.

At the age of twenty-two, Bishop Spence relocated to the East Coast to embrace her destiny. Serving for six years under the umbrella of the Honorable Bishop Marion E. Wright Sr., (Durham, NC); Bishop learned the meaning of covenant and acquiesced to a commitment to God that would lead her to the next level of education for purpose. This was acquired through six and a half years of servitude to The Honorable Bishop Williams S. Spain, Jr. (Raleigh,NC) and receipt of a M.Div . It was here that Bishop Spence answered her call to the Evangelism field and then the Pastorate.

April 15, 1996 in Garner, NC with seven members, Bishop Spence birthed Greater Life Outreach Fellowship Church; Inc. In the second year, Greater Life relocated to Durham, NC and continued to grow through the evangelistic anointed preaching and teaching of our Pastor.

To date, Bishop P.D. Spence is the Founder and proud Shepherd of Remnant Of Christ (ROC) Fellowship Church located in Raleigh, NC; the Presiding Bishop of Greater Covenant Fellowship of Churches and the Apostolic Covering for ROCNation Fellowship; a body of baptized believers who have determined to learn what a man will receive for our obedience in living holy! God is our Chief Shepherd and we are the Sheep of His pasture. She is also the proud parent of one natural son and a host of spiritual children.
